Booking Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms before booking Altbau Location Berlin. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms below.
Scope
These terms apply to all bookings of the property for photography, film, television, commercial and other creative productions.
Booking Confirmation
A booking is only confirmed once we have provided written confirmation.
For Instant Book reservations, confirmation happens automatically after successful payment.
Payment
Instant Book
For Instant Book reservations, full payment is required at the time of booking through Stripe.
Manual Bookings
For bespoke productions or larger projects, alternative payment schedules may be agreed — this must be arranged in writing before the booking is confirmed.
Booking Duration
The minimum booking is 4 hours.
Access to the property is limited to the agreed booking period unless otherwise agreed. Additional time is billed at the agreed hourly rate, subject to availability.
Crew Size
The maximum crew size is 25 people. Larger productions require our prior approval.
Furniture & Property
Furniture may be moved where necessary for a production.
All furniture and decorative items must be returned to their original locations before departure.
Damage
Clients are responsible for:
- damage
- excessive cleaning
- missing items
- damage caused by crew, contractors or equipment
Production Insurance
For larger commercial productions, we may request proof of valid production liability insurance before confirming the booking.
Property Use
No smoking inside the property. Animals are only permitted with prior approval.
The property may not be used for:
- pornography
- explicit sexual content
- illegal activity
- activities incompatible with the residential nature of the building
Respect for Neighbours
Bookings must be conducted with reasonable consideration for neighbouring residents. Noise should be kept to an appropriate level.
Right to Decline Bookings
We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our discretion, including where the proposed use is incompatible with the property or neighbouring residents.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 14 days before the booking: full refund.
- 7–14 days before the booking: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before the booking: no refund.
If we are able to rebook the cancelled date, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a partial or full refund.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for delays or cancellations resulting from events beyond their reasonable control.
Liability
We are not liable for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including utility outages, internet interruptions or force majeure events.
Condition Documentation
We may photograph the property before and after each booking to document its condition.
Governing Law
These Booking Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
